About Mirsonics

A healing technology company
built on decades of
field-based experience.

Mirsonics is pioneering the convergence of digital innovation, biophysics research, and decades of healing tradition, building a new category of audio-based therapeutic technology that is accessible, evidence-informed, and designed to scale.

Dr. Geoff DePaula has spent more than 25 years as a Doctor of Acupuncture, but it was his unexpected encounter with Peter Chappell's work that changed the direction of everything. For years, Geoff worked closely alongside Peter, helping to advance and deepen the clinical application of his original invention. That collaboration grew into something neither had planned, until Peter reached out to Geoff with a proposal: to formalize their partnership and build a company together. That conversation became Mirsonics.

Who We Are

Pioneering a new category
of digital therapeutics.
We are something genuinely new, and we are building the evidence to prove it.

Mirsonics is an audio-based wellbeing technology company developing Sonic Therapeutics™: a growing library of proprietary audio programs designed to support physical, emotional, and energetic balance.

We are building products that make meaningful support more accessible in everyday life, from focused consumer programs to a living digital platform with real-time outcomes tracking and measurable, clinically trackable results.

What Makes Us Different

Five things that set
Mirsonics apart.

1

An origin story unlike any other.

Mirsonics did not begin in a startup incubator. It began with field-based humanitarian work on HIV/AIDS in Africa in 2001, and expanded over two decades into epidemic disease, trauma, chronic conditions, and human performance across 18 countries.

2

A root-cause perspective.

We look beneath the surface. Our work is shaped by the understanding that many forms of suffering share common underlying drivers (psychological trauma, physical trauma, toxins, and infections) that standard approaches often do not address.

3

A scalable audio format.

The work evolved from earlier remedy-based formats into audio-based delivery, making it compatible with any device with internet access and accessible to anyone with a pair of headphones.

4

A broad program universe.

Our library spans conditions, emotional wellbeing, infections, physical injury, toxins, enhancement, and Asian Medicine traditions, with new programs in active development.

5

A real-time outcomes tracking platform.

Mirsonics is not just a library of audio programs. It is a living digital platform. Our web application actively tracks user data and analytics, giving people the ability to monitor their progress and see their improvements in real time. We are continuously building and optimizing this infrastructure to make outcomes tracking more robust, more personal, and more meaningful, so that every person using Sonic Therapeutics™ can see their own results as they unfold.

Our Mission

Why Mirsonics exists.

We started with a simple but urgent belief: that there is a vast population of people who have explored everything conventional medicine has to offer, and are still searching for greater ease and balance in their daily lives.

Mirsonics exists for those people.

What We Stand For
AccessibilityMeaningful support should be available to anyone, anywhere, not just those with access to specialized care.
EvidenceWe are building the clinical research infrastructure to demonstrate what our members are already experiencing.
InnovationWe are pioneering a genuinely new category of digital therapeutics.
Where We're Going

Building the future
of audio-based wellbeing.

Mirsonics is evolving from a founder-led body of work into a modern platform company. The foundation has been laid: a growing library of Sonic Therapeutics™ programs, a web application with real-time outcomes tracking, and a clinical research program in active development in collaboration with faculty from Harvard Medical School.

What comes next is scale. More programs. More categories. A more personalized platform experience. And a growing body of clinical evidence that demonstrates what hundreds of our members are already experiencing every day.

We are also launching a practitioner and pilot program network, bringing Sonic Therapeutics™ to health professionals, integrative practitioners, coaches, and advocates who want to offer their communities something genuinely new.

The foundation is real. The technology is working. And the mission has never been clearer.

Our Story

From humanitarian field work
to a modern wellbeing platform.

In 2001, Peter Chappell began working on HIV/AIDS in Africa. The context demanded new thinking: simpler, more accessible methods for epidemic disease, trauma, and chronic suffering in resource-limited environments where conventional medicine couldn't reach.

Over the years that followed, Peter's work expanded into a wider framework of conditions: epidemic disease, trauma, chronic illness, and human performance. The approach grew in depth and scope, informed by decades of practical field experience across more than 18 countries.

Eventually the underlying technology shifted. What had originally required specialized remedy formats began to evolve toward audio-based delivery. That shift mattered because audio can travel anywhere. A phone can carry it. An app can deliver it. The barrier to access dropped from specialized clinics to headphones.

In 2018, Dr. Geoff DePaula began working with Peter as an unpaid strategic advisor, driven by a genuine belief in what Peter had built. For years, Geoff helped advance and deepen the clinical application of Peter's original invention. That collaboration grew into something neither had planned, until Peter reached out to Geoff with a proposal to formalize their partnership and build a company together.

In 2023, Mirsonics was born.

Meet the Founders

The people behind
Sonic Therapeutics™.

Two decades of unconventional field work. One shared conviction. And a company built to bring it to the world.

Peter Chappell

Peter Chappell

Co-Founder

Peter Chappell is the originator of the body of work that became Mirsonics. Originally trained as a systems engineer, Peter held several patents by the age of 27 and received his graduate training at Oxford University. That foundation in systems thinking and engineering would later prove essential to the development of a healing modality unlike anything that had come before it.

His career expanded from engineering into homeopathy, healing innovation, and field-based humanitarian work, beginning with HIV/AIDS in Africa in 2001 and expanding over two decades into epidemic disease, trauma, chronic conditions, and human performance across more than 18 countries.

Peter is the inventor of Source Work, a proprietary healing modality that evolved from earlier remedy-based formats into the audio-based delivery system that now powers Sonic Therapeutics™. He is also the author of The Second Simillimum and Homeopathy for Diseases, foundational texts documenting the intellectual underpinnings of the Information Medicine paradigm.

Dr. Geoff DePaula

Dr. Geoff DePaula

Co-Founder & CEO

Dr. Geoff DePaula is co-founder and CEO of Mirsonics. A Doctor of Acupuncture with more than 25 years of clinical experience, Geoff brings deep practical grounding in integrative medicine, with particular depth in women's health, digestive conditions, and the clinical application of East Asian Medicine.

Geoff began working with Peter in 2018, initially as an unpaid strategic advisor, driven by a genuine belief that Peter's body of work represented something important that the world hadn't yet had access to. For years, he helped Peter advance and deepen the clinical application of his original invention. That collaboration grew into something neither had planned, until Peter reached out to Geoff with a proposal: to formalize their partnership and build a company together. That conversation became Mirsonics.
